There is no ingredient that captures the spirit of the coast quite like fresh oysters. Join us for a special evening featuring premium oysters from Forgotten Bay Oysters as we explore six unique preparations that showcase the versatility, freshness, and exceptional flavor of this coastal delicacy.

You'll begin by learning the fundamentals of selecting, handling, and safely shucking fresh oysters before preparing your own. Throughout the class, we'll explore classic accompaniments, Southern favorites, and globally inspired flavor combinations while sharing tips for serving oysters with confidence at home.

From the simplicity of freshly shucked oysters with traditional garnishes to rich Creole butter broiled oysters and crispy Southern fried oysters served over smoked Gouda grits, each course highlights a different way to enjoy this versatile shellfish.

• Freshly Shucked Raw Oysters with Crackers, Hot Sauce, and Lemon

• Southern Fried Oysters with Smoked Gouda Grits

We will have chilled water for you during the class; however, you are welcome to bring your own sip. We will have wine glasses for your beverage, should you choose to bring one. We do ask that you do not bring hard liquor.

All reservations for our classes are non-refundable, however, they are transferable to another guest. In the event you are unable to attend a class, please call the shop at your earliest convenience and provide the name you are transferring your reservation to. If you are unable to find a replacement and there is a waitlist for the class, we will do our best to fill your spot. If we are successful, we will apply your fee to a future class.
