Spice Route Tailgate: Berbere Wings & West African Street Bites with Chef (10/30)

Take your tailgate menu on a trip along the spice route. In this lively, hands-on class, Chef Cat and Tiborrah from Kosher Coaster will guide you through bold flavors and festive bites perfect for game day gatherings. You’ll learn the art of crisp frying, spice blooming, and building portable plates that bring global flair to your table.

On the menu:
• Boneless Berbere “Wings” – Fried chicken bites tossed in Ethiopian berbere, finished with lemon and berbere drizzle
• African Eggrolls – Golden, crisp rolls with a boiled egg center, served with peri-peri dipping sauce
• African Meat Pie – Flaky hand pies with a savory vegan potato-and-pea filling
• Tatale (Ghanaian Plantain Pancakes) – Ginger-scented plantain pancakes with savory bean sauce

Come hungry, leave inspired—and ready to wow your friends with tailgate dishes that are anything but ordinary.

We will have chilled water for you during the class; however, you are welcome to bring your own sip.  We will have wine glasses for your beverage, should you choose to bring one.  We do ask that you do not bring hard liquor.

All reservations for our classes are non-refundable, however, they are transferable to another guest.  In the event you are unable to attend a class, please call the shop at your earliest convenience and provide the name you are transferring your reservation to.  If you are unable to find a replacement and there is a waitlist for the class, we will do our best to fill your spot. If we are successful, we will apply your fee to a future class.
