Demonstration Class
There is just something about a cast iron skillet and a Southern supper that feels like home.
Join Chef Lauren of Ida-Belle’s Southern Kitchen for an evening centered around comforting flavors, time-honored techniques, and the kind of meal that gathers people close to the table. In this demonstration-style class, Lauren will walk you through how to build rich flavor using cast iron, while sharing tips you can bring straight into your own kitchen.
We’ll begin with a small bite that sets the tone for the evening, followed by a hearty, flavor-packed main course, and finish with a warm Southern dessert that is simply irresistible.
Menu Includes:
· Small Bite: Pimento Cheese and Fried Green Tomato Bites
· Main Course: Maple Bacon Pork Chop with Dijon Mustard Cream Sauce, served over mashed potatoes with lemon asparagus
· Dessert: Bourbon Bread Pudding with Coffee
Come ready to learn, savor, and enjoy a relaxed evening filled with good food and great company.
We will have chilled water for you during the class; however, you are welcome to bring your own sip. We will have wine glasses for your beverage, should you choose to bring one. We do ask that you do not bring hard liquor.
All reservations for our classes are non-refundable, however, they are transferable to another guest. In the event you are unable to attend a class, please call the shop at your earliest convenience and provide the name you are transferring your reservation to. If you are unable to find a replacement and there is a waitlist for the class, we will do our best to fill your spot. If we are successful, we will apply your fee to a future class.
