Hands On Class
There is something truly special about pulling a perfectly golden focaccia from the oven. In this hands on class, you'll learn how to create light, airy sourdough focaccia with a crisp crust, tender crumb, and the rich flavor that only natural fermentation can provide.
Together, we'll explore the fundamentals of sourdough fermentation, mixing and folding techniques, and the secrets to achieving beautifully textured focaccia. Along the way, you'll discover how fresh, seasonal ingredients can transform a simple loaf into an unforgettable centerpiece for any meal.
We'll begin the evening with freshly baked grissinis served alongside a selection of savory spreads before enjoying two signature focaccia creations.
Menu Includes:
- Appetizer: Fresh Grissinis with a Selection of Spreads
- Focaccia Napoli with Tomatoes, Olives, Parmesan Cheese, and Fresh Basil
- Isabel Focaccia with Caramelized Figs, Gorgonzola Cheese, and Walnuts
Come ready to mix, fold, bake, and enjoy the timeless art of baking while leaving with the confidence to create beautiful focaccia in your own kitchen.
We will have chilled water for you during the class; however, you are welcome to bring your own sip. We will have wine glasses for your beverage, should you choose to bring one. We do ask that you do not bring hard liquor.
All reservations for our classes are non-refundable, however, they are transferable to another guest. In the event you are unable to attend a class, please call the shop at your earliest convenience and provide the name you are transferring your reservation to. If you are unable to find a replacement and there is a waitlist for the class, we will do our best to fill your spot. If we are successful, we will apply your fee to a future class.
