Join Robin for a thoughtful and relaxed morning at The Prepared Table as we gather for a guided journaling workshop focused on putting everyday life down on paper. This class is about creating space to write, reflect, and capture the moments that matter, from gratitude and personal reflections to recipes, family traditions, memories, and ideas you want to remember.

We will start the morning with bagels and coffee as everyone settles in. I will then walk you through the basics of journaling and why it can be such a useful and meaningful practice. Journaling is not just about gratitude. It can be a place to collect thoughts, preserve family stories, jot down favorite meals, record traditions, work through decisions, or simply slow down and write without distraction.

You will be guided through a variety of prompts that invite reflection, memory keeping, and creativity. There is no pressure to write a certain way or share unless you choose to. This is a welcoming space for anyone who wants to begin or return to a journaling habit.

A journal and pen are included and yours to keep, making it easy to continue writing at home. This workshop will kick off a series held on the 5th Saturdays throughout 2026, offering a regular opportunity to pause, reflect, and put meaningful moments on paper.

Whether you are brand new to journaling or have journals tucked away at home, this class is a simple and encouraging place to start.

Space is limited. Advance registration is required.

All reservations for our classes are non-refundable, however, they are transferable to another guest.  In the event you are unable to attend a class, please call the shop at your earliest convenience and provide the name you are transferring your reservation to.  If you are unable to find a replacement and there is a waitlist for the class, we will do our best to fill your spot. If we are successful, we will apply your fee to a future class.
