Calling all young food lovers! Our Kid’s Cooking Camp is back for summer 2026 with three opportunities to join the fun. Designed for rising 2nd through 8th graders, this hands-on camp invites students into the kitchen to learn, create, and build confidence, all while having a wonderful time.

Chef Felisha Nicholson brings her passion for cooking and teaching to each camp, guiding students through essential kitchen skills, basic techniques, and food safety in a way that feels approachable and exciting.

Each day, campers will prepare their own snacks and meals while learning practical life skills like teamwork, creativity, and independence. Along the way, they will be introduced to new ingredients and cuisines, helping them grow in both confidence and curiosity in the kitchen. Every student will also receive a Junior Chef Kit to use during camp and take home at the end of the week.

Parent’s Night Celebration:
Each camp will end with a special Parent’s Night on Thursday, where families are invited to join us. Campers will prepare and serve a meal, giving them the opportunity to share what they have learned and celebrate their accomplishments.

What to Expect:

• Hands-on cooking in a fun, encouraging environment
• Daily snacks and meals prepared by each student
• Instruction in kitchen etiquette, technique, and safety
• Opportunities to work both independently and in groups

Requirements:

• Comfortable, closed-toe shoes are required
• Long hair must be tied back
  
• Students should arrive healthy and ready to cook each day
• Campers are expected to be respectful of instructors, fellow campers, and The Prepared Table shop

Registration:
Parent or guardian information should be listed in the Shipping/Billing section. The listed parent or guardian will receive an email prior to camp with additional details and to answer any questions.

We look forward to welcoming your young chef into the kitchen for a week full of learning, laughter, and delicious memories.

All reservations for our classes are non-refundable, however, they are transferable to another guest.  In the event you are unable to attend a class, please call the shop at your earliest convenience and provide the name you are transferring your reservation to.  If you are unable to find a replacement and there is a waitlist for the class, we will do our best to fill your spot. If we are successful, we will apply your fee to a future class.
