Hands-On Cooking Class
What if dinner wasn’t just food but a full-blown flavor revival? Step into the vibrant world of Nigerian cuisine with Chef Cat and Tiborah as they serve up soul, spice, and plant-powered goodness in this immersive hands-on class. Rooted in tradition and bursting with bold flavor, this experience brings together nourishing ingredients, rich cultural stories, and street food flair.
On the menu:
• Puff-Puff – pillowy sweet fried dough with a spiced tomato dipping sauce (served as an appetizer)
• Creamy Vegan Egusi Stew – made with ground melon seeds, savory spices, and hearty vegetables
• Sautéed African Greens – perfectly seasoned and full of depth
• Cassava Fufu – served table-side and made in advance using the traditional pounding method
Whether you're plant-based or just plant-curious, this class invites you to taste, learn, and connect through the power of food. Come hungry for more than just a meal—come ready for a celebration.
We will have chilled water for you during the class; however, you are welcome to bring your own sip. We will have wine glasses for your beverage, should you choose to bring one. We do ask that you do not bring hard liquor.
All reservations for our classes are non-refundable, however, they are transferable to another guest. In the event you are unable to attend a class, please call the shop at your earliest convenience and provide the name you are transferring your reservation to. If you are unable to find a replacement and there is a waitlist for the class, we will do our best to fill your spot. If we are successful, we will apply your fee to a future class.
