Demonstration Style Class
Travel to New England without leaving Tallahassee. This class is inspired by Robin’s fall trip to the Boston area and features iconic flavors, cozy café moments, and classic desserts that tell the story of place and tradition. From seaside chowder to a legendary hotel dessert, this evening is part cooking class, part culinary travelogue.
On the menu:
• Mustard Pickles inspired by Ipswich, a quick pickle you can easily recreate at home
• Avocado Toast with Mascarpone, inspired by Sunny Girl in Boston
• Creamy, Thick New England Clam Chowder, just like the bowls enjoyed in Plymouth
• Fluffy Seagull Latte with marshmallow fluff and peanut butter
• Classic Boston Cream Pie inspired by the Parker House
You will leave with recipes, stories, and plenty of inspiration to recreate these flavors at home.
We will have chilled water for you during the class; however, you are welcome to bring your own sip. We will have wine glasses for your beverage, should you choose to bring one. We do ask that you do not bring hard liquor.
All reservations for our classes are non-refundable, however, they are transferable to another guest. In the event you are unable to attend a class, please call the shop at your earliest convenience and provide the name you are transferring your reservation to. If you are unable to find a replacement and there is a waitlist for the class, we will do our best to fill your spot. If we are successful, we will apply your fee to a future class.
