There is something deeply satisfying about bread that starts from the very beginning  and it doesn’t get more foundational than a loaf built from freshly milled flour.

Join Stacey of Spring Hollow Mill as she guides you through the full journey from whole grain to finished roll, beginning with a live milling demonstration before moving into the baking itself. Along the way, Stacey will share her techniques for working with freshly milled flour, from understanding grain varieties to adjusting for texture and flavor in your own kitchen.

Guests will be welcomed with freshly baked cookies while Stacey walks you through everything you need to feel confident bringing this process home.

Whether you’ve been curious about milling at home or simply want a deeper appreciation for where your ingredients come from, this class offers a meaningful, hands-on experience that begins long before the oven is ever turned on.

We will have chilled water for you during the class; however, you are welcome to bring your own sip. We will have wine glasses for your beverage, should you choose to bring one. We do ask that you do not bring hard liquor.

All reservations for our classes are non-refundable, however, they are transferable to another guest. In the event you are unable to attend a class, please call the shop at your earliest convenience and provide the name you are transferring your reservation to. If you are unable to find a replacement and there is a waitlist for the class, we will do our best to fill your spot. If we are successful, we will apply your fee to a future class.
